“Nature within Architecture, Architecture within Nature”, the forefront of organic, biophilic and sustainable design, entitles the round table panel held by FLORA LEE, Associate Partner MAD Architects, China on the 23rd of November at Palazzo Badoer, Università Iuav di Venezia, starting from 9.30 – 11.30 AM during the SHARE X: Conference for Advanced Architecture.
The specialized roundtable discussion will elaborate on the latest research developments discovered by MAD Architects during a series of projects such as Gardenhouse, One River north, Lucas Museum of Narrative Art. From the starting point to its actual implementations, Flora Lee will share the lessons learned from this pioneering project, and the transformations that made the design possible.
Flora Lee’s ambition is to design innovative architectures while enhancing people’s lives and experience with the built environment. She is a strong advocate for MAD’s design visions and works alongside MAD’s architects and designers to develop futuristic, organic, technologically-advanced designs that embody a humanistic connection with nature. The studio is committed to developing futuristic, organic, technologically advanced designs that embody a contemporary interpretation of the Eastern affinity for nature.
The round table will develop during a presentation of 45 minutes the main idea of “Architectural design and spatial quality that promote emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being of humans through the connection with nature” – Flora Lee. With a vision for the city of the future based on the spiritual and emotional needs of residents, MAD endeavors to create a balance between humanity, the city, and the environment.
This exceptional meeting between professionals will present real-world applications of both ongoing and completed research and it aims to not only showcase successful integrations of these innovative techniques into project design and construction, but also to stimulate dialogue through a 45-minutes open discussion with the audience members moderated by ARMAND VOKSHI, Founder Avatelier & Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism, Albania.

The International Conference for Advanced Architecture will take place on 23rd of November at Università Iuav di Venezia, Palazzo Badoer and the following day, on the 24th it will be hosted at M9 Museum, Mestre. The Conference will be chaired by arch. Luca Molinari, Scientific director of M9 Museum and is organised by SHARE Architects together with Ordine degli Architetti Pianificatori Paesaggisti e Conservatori Venezia,under the patronage of the Fondazione Degli Architetti, Pianificatori, Paesaggisti e Conservatori della Provincia Di Venezia, and Federazione Regionale Ordini Architetti PPC Veneto.
