“Vlad Simionescu & Asociatii, Arhitecti” was awarded The Best Architectural Office of the Year 2014 at the prestigious CIJ Awards Romania.

Vlad Simionescu and Raluca Buzdugan founded the firm in 1995 in Bucharest, Romania.

“Vlad Simionescu & Asociatii, Arhitecti” is a firm structured to work in two modes: first, as a traditional firm, performing full design services for small and medium sized local projects, and second as a specialized design firm capable of working in complex international collaborations and associations.

The firm uses an intensive and thoroughly documented design process, focused on successfully integrating all functional and esthetic aspects of each project. The design team, working extensively in model form, produces and critically evaluates many alternative solutions for each design issue.
