PROJECTS TO BE PRESENTED DURING THE EVENT

Project #1: Verita International School Campus in Amber Forest

Project #1 category: Infant schools / Primary Schools / Secondary Schools / Special needs facilities

Start year: 01.01.2023

Designed to meet the highest standards of energy efficiency and guided by bioclimatic design principles, the Verita International School Campus in Amber Forest will achieve net zero energy consumption, a significantly reduced carbon footprint, and lower operational costs, while ensuring enhanced comfort and healthty environment for its students. Scheduled to officially open in September 2026, the campus will be developed in two phases across a 15,000 m² site. It will accommodate a school, kindergarten, and afterschool programs, alongside dedicated sports facilities, serving children aged 2.5 to 18 years.

Project #2: Cambridge School of Bucharest in the Historic Lahovary House

Project #2 category: Infant schools / Primary Schools / Secondary Schools / Special needs facilities

The project involves the rehabilitation and adaptive reuse of a historic building — Casa Lahovary, a heritage-listed site in a protected urban zone. The intervention preserves the architectural integrity of the monument while integrating new educational spaces below ground level, illuminated by sunken courtyards, to preserve the integrity of the historical monument’s facades, ensuring the new intervention remains discreet and non-competitive. The design offers a child-friendly, low-impact learning environment in the heart of the city, catering to early years education in a prestigious, accessible urban context.
