Biography
ABOUT
Christos Christodoulou studied Architecture at Manchester School of Architecture and he is member of RIBA.
He has been practicing since 1997 both in the UK & Cyprus, where he
co-founded Simpraxis Architects in 2003.
He has been a recipient of several Architecture awards, including the Cyprus State Architecture Award.
His office has participated and won several architectural competitions. He also served as jury member for State awards as in Lebanon, Bulgaria, Malta, Croatia. He presented his work at many Architectural conferences, in Europe and Middle East.
He has also served as President of the CAA (Cyprus Architects Association) 2013-2022, member of the Engineers chamber board, member of the National Social Housing Authority.
He also served as a member of the Executive Board of Architects Council of Europe (ACE), between 2022-2023.
The office is based in Nicosia and is focusing on private and public projects. The aim is to provide high level of contemporary architectural solutions with emphasis on reinterpreting local building typologies and refined detailing.
