PROJECTS TO BE PRESENTED DURING THE EVENT
Project #1: New Losbates School Competition, Czech Republic
Project #1 category: Infant schools / Primary Schools / Secondary Schools / Special needs facilities
Start year: 15.07.2018
The competition sought the best architectural proposal for a new elementary school in the LOŠBATES region, initiated by the municipalities of Louňovice, Štíhlice, Tehovec, and Svojetice. The goal was to design a modern, future-ready school for 2 x 9 classes, including preparatory, primary, and secondary levels, alongside a caretaker’s flat and spaces for an elementary art school. The brief also called for staff housing, connection to the main road, and sufficient parking. This ambitious project—unprecedented in the history of the participating villages—aimed to deliver a 21st-century educational environment that fosters learning, supports community engagement, and respects the natural and built character of Louňovice. Proposals were expected to respond sensitively to the 2.5-hectare site and ensure flexibility for a future expansion.

Project #2 category: Infant schools / Primary Schools / Secondary Schools / Special needs facilities
Start year: 20.08.2022
