ABOUT
Collin Burry, FIIDA, Design Principal in the London office of Gensler where he’s been for six years after 25 years in San Francisco. He’s a 2013 inductee into the Interior Design Hall of Fame. A “humanistic modernist,” Collin describes himself as both a left and right brain designer who creates environments that reflect his clients’ ethos, while striving for originality, authenticity and strategic, intuitive functionality. He is committed to the responsible shepherding of society, people and the planet. His distinct point of view reflects a visual narrative influenced by his passion for contemporary art, music, photography, travel, and ballet. His expertise ranges from workplace to hospitality, product design, showrooms and F+B. He led the design of San Francisco International Airports Terminal 2 which strived to bring joy and delight back to the travel post 9/11. He’s designed for many of the world’s most iconic brands, such as Netflix, LEGO, pladis, Barclays, Apple, Airbnb, Facebook, Pixar, Nike, Samsung, E. & J Gallo Winery, and Nokia.
