PROJECTS TO BE PRESENTED DURING THE EVENT

Project #1: Yalda House

Start year: 01.08.2023

This project involved converting a father’s house into a residential apartment. Typically, the house would have been demolished to make way for the apartment, but we decided to preserve the family’s home by relocating all its elements to the upper floors. As a result, the house is situated in the middle of the apartment and at an elevated height. The most buildings designed in the center of the site while the rest of the land would be useless. In this case The mass would be separated to different parts according to the function of the spaces. By the best optimization the separated parts located in specific land spot to have the best mutual relation with other spaces. Then the program loaded in partitioned blocks and the final form applied.

Project #2: Khezershahr Villa

Start year: 01.05.2022

The villa complex is situated between the Caspian Sea and the lush greenery of the northern forests of Iran, presenting unique design challenges and opportunities. The geographical location influences the project significantly, necessitating a design that harmonizes with the natural landscape. The site’s context emphasizes the importance of integrating landscape identity into the design. The site’s location between the Caspian Sea and verdant surroundings shapes the project’s design focus. The design strategy centers on reflecting the landscape’s identity and optimizing the natural features through thoughtful design. The design aims to incorporate natural lines and forms to shape the landscape, creating a living environment that blends seamlessly with its surroundings. The natural topography, including its elevations and depressions, is used to influence the building’s form and functionality. Private spaces are integrated into the building’s roof, providing unique, elevated areas that connect with the landscape. Design Idea I Paddy Fields The site’s context highlights the significance of integrating nature and green spaces. Analysis of the paddy fields reveals their role in creating a dynamic landscape with slopes and ridges, which contributes to a distinctive experience. The design embraces these natural variations, creating habitable spaces that allow people to engage with and enjoy the landscape actively. Design Idea II Traditional Houses The architectural style of ancient Iranian houses reflects the region’s public culture, climate, and religious beliefs. Traditional Iranian buildings were designed to maximize the benefits of natural elements like light, wind, and water while mitigating the effects of heat and cold. This design approach informs the current project, drawing on historical methods of creating functional and responsive architecture that harmonizes with its environment.

Project #3: Babylon Villa

Start year: 01.02.2023

Passing through the main road of Oushan, the site is located in the slope of the Albourz Mountains, overlooking the small village down the hill where one of the streams of the Fasham river is running. Dense greenary alongside the river, propogate over the slope, reaching the main road. On the other side of the road has a scattered vegitation.Located down on the foot of the Alborz Mountains, the site dictated a particular type of design to interact perfectly with the context. Subsequent layers incorporate horizontal surfaces to develop specious rooms, allowing exceptional experience in the heart of the mountains and cohabitation with nature. To immitate the natural form of the mountain , a network of lines was designed. The rythm of these lines are conducted as the functionaly dictates, resulting a costumed network. As walls are placed on this network the elevation also rearenged so that the villa climb on the slope accordingly. The design Idea is originated from the unique characteristics of mountain geography. The design proposes integration with the body of the mountain instead of a reckless placement of complicated geometry on the ground. Hence, the project camouflage in the context and unite with the Slope. Vegitation grow on top of the walls expanding throught out the site surrounding the pool, play ground and narrow path going down the hill. Gardens in various size also spread in every corner alongside the passes. Villa as a whole is like a small particle of a chain of greenary which starts from near the river down the hill and continues to the main road. Our project act as green sopt connecting to the rare vegetation north side of the road to the lush greenary in the south.
