ABOUT

Ioanna is an architect with 18 years experience, specializing in green architecture and sustainable design. Excellent knowledge of BIM systems and CAD programs, Ioanna has become our resident expert in masterplan design and urban planning, specializing in environmental design of large-scale developments and buildings. She is responsible for the full project scope, from the initial communications with clients until the completion of construction and the final licensing. Diploma in Architecture Engineering (NTUA), Master (MSc) in Environmental Design of Cities and Buildings (HOU)

PROJECTS TO BE PRESENTED DURING THE EVENT

Project #1: Private Residence Agios Tychonas

Start year: 26.05.2016

UDS Architect’s modern monolithic, interpretation of traditional Mediterranean Villas. Using the steep hills of the Terrain that overlooks the bay of Limassol, and considering the basic principles of views, sun, shadows, wind and space, UDS Architects created a floating living area of 865 sqm in tune with today’s lifestyle.

Project #2: Noble Centre

Start year: 19.09.2008

The building is located on a crossroad of two main commercial roads facing towards the center of the Town of Limassol, Cyprus. The building which demonstrates an environmental and distinctive design philosophy, is about 4000 sqm half of which is office space with two basements and stores on the ground floor. The unique shape of the building is a response to the plot and its prime location, being at a crossroad of two main commercial streets. At the center of the building there is a 3m gap which creates stepped terraces and, at the same time, hanging gardens which are accessible from the offices. The outer layer of the building is a three-dimensional combination of glazing, thermal and shading panels, horizontal and vertical panels. The combination of these movements in relation to the orientation can also change from floor to floor due to internal office requirements.

Project #3: The Icon

Start year: 10.11.2016

This multi-story residential complex, which is inspired by the shape of a diamond, extends over 105m in height. Situated along the Limassol coastline, it is set to fulfil the high demand for luxury housing units in the area and marking a new urban horizon. The main challenge, that was instrumental in developing the volume, was the requirements to place specific uses of the building that had different width in specific level in order to give the best solution for each use.
