SHARE Slovenia 2026 Forum unveils a high-profile line-up of international guests and local speakers, bringing together names such as Sou Fujimoto Architects, White Arkitekter, Sadar+Vuga, Pipenbaher Consulting Engineers, and more.
Taking place on 17 March 2026, SHARE Slovenia 2026 will bring Ljubljana to the forefront of European architecture and engineering, gathering renowned international guests and leading Slovenian speakers. The forum will showcase acclaimed projects, forward-thinking ideas, and inspiring discussions on sustainability, innovation, and urban transformation.
SHARE Slovenia returns with a new edition devoted to the dialogue between architecture, engineering, sustainability, and innovation, bringing to Ljubljana an outstanding line-up of international guests alongside a strong selection of local speakers. The forum will bring together architects, designers, engineers, and industry professionals for a program shaped by landmark projects, urgent professional themes, and leading voices in contemporary European practice. The event also carries professional recognition, being credited with 3 ZAPS points (Chamber of Architecture and Spatial Planning of Slovenia) and 1 IZS point (Slovenian Chamber of Engineers).
Among the headline names of this edition is Davide Macullo, founder of Davide Macullo Architects, Switzerland. Widely recognized for an architectural language rooted in nature, context, and human experience, Macullo brings to SHARE Slovenia one of the event’s most distinguished international perspectives. Between 1990 and 2010, he worked for two decades in Mario Botta’s atelier, contributing to more than 200 international projects. He later established his own studio in Lugano, whose work has been featured in over 300 publications and has received 90 awards in Switzerland and abroad. At SHARE Slovenia, he will deliver a special presentation on The Rossa Project, the psychology of space, and the future of architects and architecture.
Another prominent figure in the program is Marjan Pipenbaher of Pipenbaher Consulting Engineers, an eminent name in bridge design in the region. His keynote presentation will spotlight major infrastructure works including the Črni Kal Viaduct, the Pelješac Bridge, the new Kaštela Bridge in Split, and the bridges over the Krka River. His participation broadens the scope of the forum beyond architecture as object, opening a wider conversation on structural excellence, territorial scale, and the role of infrastructure in shaping the contemporary landscape.
House of Music Budapest, one of the most acclaimed cultural architecture projects in the region, will also be a highlight of this edition. The project will be presented by Adrien de Lassence, Associate Director, Sou Fujimoto Architects, together with Bence Varga, Senior Architect and Partner of Teampannon Architects, Hungary. Their joint presentation will offer audiences insight into both the conceptual ambition and the technical depth behind a project that has become a contemporary landmark in Central Europe.

Additionally, the international nature of this forum is also strengthened by the participation of White Arkitekter, represented by Oskar Norelius, Senior Director. The practice brings to SHARE Slovenia 2026 a mindset on social importance and human experience, long-term sustainability, with the likes of Stockholm Wood City – the World’s Largest Urban Development Project in Wood and The Erven Amsterdam.

Also joining the program is Anouk Legendre, co-founder of XTU Architects, France. Known for projects in which sustainable architecture is deeply tied to local identity and cultural context, she will present works including Cité du Vin in Bordeaux and Almaty Eastern Gate in Kazakhstan. Her contribution adds a strong conceptual layer to the event, bringing into focus the relationship between architectural expression, ecological responsibility, and place-based design.
The program also features Matthias Bauer, founder and principal of MBA/S Matthias Bauer Associates, Germany, a pertinent voice in the current debate on urban transformation, inclusion, and the activation of cities through architecture. With offices established in Rotterdam and Stuttgart and a significant international portfolio, Bauer will present the Future Center for European Unity and European Integration Halle and Leopoldshöhe Brunsheide Housing, answering the question of how architecture can respond to the major social and spatial challenges of contemporary urban life.
SHARE Slovenia 2026 also places strong emphasis on the local architectural scene through a line-up that reflects the diversity and strength of contemporary practice in the country. The Slovenian speakers include Miha Čebulj, partner at SADAR+VUGA, Matej Blenkuš, founding partner of Abiro, Aleš Košak of AKSL arhitekti, Maja Pisanec Zavrl of Casa Maja – architecture and interior design, Vid de Gleria, founding partner of Strip lab, and Benjamin Hafner, founder of HAFNER ARHITEKTI.
