On June 9, 2026, the SHARE X Conference for Advanced Architecture returns to Venice under the theme Innovation into Heritage, bringing together architects, urban planners, and heritage experts to explore contemporary interventions in historic cities, adaptive reuse, and urban continuity.
The event will take place at The Teatrino of Palazzo Grassi, part of one of Venice’s most significant cultural landmarks. Palazzo Grassi, designed by Venetian architect Giorgio Massari and built between 1748 and 1772, is considered the last grand noble residence constructed on the Grand Canal before the fall of the Venetian Republic.
The Teatrino di Palazzo Grassi was transformed by Japanese architect Tadao Ando as part of the Pinault Collection’s cultural project in Venice. His contemporary intervention within a historic context makes the venue more than a conference hall: it becomes a built expression of the SHARE X Venice theme, where memory, contemporary architecture, and the adaptive reuse of heritage come together.
The conference is organized by SHARE Architects, co-organized by Ordine degli Architetti Venezia, and held in collaboration with SHARE Architects Society, with Şişecam as Official Partner and Everest as National Partner.
Secure your seat at SHARE X Venice 2026 and be part of a forward-looking architectural dialogue where heritage, innovation, and urban vision meet.
