GEZA Architettura was established in 1999 by Stefano Gri and Piero Zucchi. Driven by curiosity and passion, the studio is dedicated to researching the synthesis of ideas, beauty, and functionality.

According to GEZA, architecture means designing SPACE within its ENVIRONMENT — through light, landscape, and the passing of TIME. Their projects seek to generate new meanings while creating new identities.

Over the years, the studio has specialized in architecture, urban planning, interior design, and product design, developing a distinctive approach based on a deep sensitivity to context, materiality, detail, and human-centered solutions, always aiming toward a poetic dimension of architecture.

A major focus of the studio’s work is industrial architecture in relation to the landscape, redefining the concept of contemporary workspaces. Notable projects include Furla Headquarters – Furla Progetto Italia (2021), Pratic 1.0 (2011), Pratic 2.0 (2018), Pratic 3.0 (2023), Capua1880 Headquarters (2022), Bosch/Freud (2018), and Faber Cylinders (2013). Another significant large-scale and award-winning project is Silk-Faw EV (2021).

Alongside residential and housing projects, GEZA has also designed exhibition and cultural spaces, including the New Craft Exhibition (2016, Fabbrica del Vapore and Triennale di Milano) and Casa della Musica (2010, Cervignano del Friuli).

The studio has received numerous international awards and recognitions. Furla Progetto Italia received four major awards in a single year: the Architecture MasterPrize, the Dedalo Minosse International Prize for Commissioning a Building, the Architizer A+Awards, and the Archilovers Best Project 2022 award.

Pratic 2.0 achieved similar international recognition, receiving the Architizer A+Awards and the Dedalo Minosse International Prize in 2019, while also being shortlisted for the Dezeen Awards, Premio di Architettura Città di Oderzo, Premio Marcello d’Olivo, and the BigMat International Architecture Awards.

In 2017, GEZA won the American Architecture Prize for Faber Cylinders and, in 2015, received the Special Jury Award “Italian Architect” organized by the National Council of Architects.

In 2012, the Pratic project won the Special Award for Private Clients at the Gold Medal for Italian Architecture – Triennale di Milano, and was also presented at the XIII Venice Architecture Biennale. In 2013, the same project brought the studio to the finals of the prestigious Mies van der Rohe Award – European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture.
