Biography

Nikoloz Lekveishvili is a Tbilisi-based architect and founder of TIMM Architecture, an award-winning practice working across architecture, urban design, and public space. He studied at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in Istanbul and received his Master’s degree from Politecnico di Milano. His work focuses on context-driven design, material clarity, and the spatial role of light and void. TIMM Architecture’s portfolio includes civic buildings, urban regeneration strategies, and contemporary reinterpretations of Georgian architectural typologies. In parallel with practice, he has taught at the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts and participated in international exhibitions, biennials, and professional forums., Nikoloz Lekveishvili is a Georgian architect and founder of TIMM Architecture, based in Tbilisi. Educated at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in Istanbul and Politecnico di Milano, his work moves between architecture, urbanism, art, and cultural research. Alongside practice, he has taught architecture at the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts and Ilia State University. He also runs Steel Art Gallery, a conceptual platform exploring art beyond conventional exhibition formats, and collaborates regularly with contemporary artists. His work has been presented internationally, including at the Venice Architecture Biennale and the Buenos Aires International Architecture Biennial.

TIMM Architecture is a Tbilisi-based studio working across architecture, interiors, urban design, and cultural projects. The practice ranges from private houses and residential buildings to hospitality, public spaces, and large-scale developments. TIMM’s work is characterized by strong conceptual narratives, sensitivity to context, material experimentation, and a close relationship between architecture and everyday life. Alongside commissioned projects, the studio actively engages with research, exhibitions, and international cultural platforms, using architecture as a tool to explore social behavior, memory, identity, and the evolving urban condition.
