Giovanni Ferrara is Head of Architecture at Luca Dini Design & Architecture, where he leads the architectural department and oversees projects from concept to construction.
An Italian architect with international experience, he has worked across Europe, China, Saudi Arabia and the USA, developing expertise in architecture, hospitality, marina design, waterfronts and masterplanning.
He graduated in Architecture from the University of Florence and built a strong background through collaborations with Archea Associati in Florence and Archea Beijing.
From 2014 to 2018, he founded and led FAR OFFICE in Changsha, China, focusing on luxury residential, hospitality and mixed-use developments.
Since 2018, he has been Senior Partner and Executive Director at Luca Dini, contributing to the firm’s international design vision and large-scale projects.
His portfolio spans resorts, villas, retail, office headquarters, marinas, waterfront developments and destination masterplans, with projects developed from concept through construction.
He has participated in numerous conferences and international events worldwide, sharing his perspective on contemporary architecture and design.
He is also regularly invited to deliver lectures at YACademy in Bologna and previously served as invited professor of Architectural Design at Hunan University in Changsha, China.
